James Clague MCIAT
James is the third generation in his family to be leading an architectural practice in Canterbury. This strong family tradition and reputation for designing and caring for buildings across Kent is of the upmost importance to James and is the corner stone of the practice.
Having learnt his trade over 10 years at Clague LLP, and having a particular skill in the technical design and delivery of building projects, James qualified as a Chartered Architectural Technologist in 2012.
James founded James Clague Architects in 2013 whilst also managing the property portfolio of a private client, undertaking the design and project management of a variety of projects in London and Kent.
James has extensive experience in delivering high end building projects, often involving historic buildings and buildings within Conservation Areas and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. James and the whole team at James Clague Architects are driven by delivering outstanding design and professional service that surpasses the expectations of clients.
